"BLACK TORCH" Color illustrations and Ryota Suzuki's ring arrive

The stage event for the TV anime “BLACK TORCH” based on the original work by Tsuyoshi Takakitoshi was held at WHITE in “AnimeJapan 2026” on March 28th. The event was held at STAGE, and featured Ryota Suzuki who played Niro Agatsuma, Yoji Ueda who played Rakuji, Ayaka Senbongi who played Kazuka Kishimogami, Junya Enoki who played Reiji Kirihara, Junichi Suwabe who played Ryosuke Shiba, and Rena Ueda who played Mika Usami. Yoji Ueda also served as MC.

``BLACK TORCH'' is a story about Niro, a high school student who is a descendant of ninja and has the ability to talk to animals, who becomes involved in a battle after encountering the legendary Mononokai Rakuji. The anime will be broadcast on TOKYO MX and other channels from July 4th. Five people play the members of the anti-material monster special mobile covert unit "Black Torch". They will discuss the roles each of them will play while using the correlation diagram shown on the screen. Reiji, a new member of the team played by Enoki, is a calm and rational person. When the MC tells Enoki that this is a character that is unlike anything he has played before, Enoki replies that he is intelligent and fits him perfectly, drawing laughter from the audience. Regarding Ryosuke, played by Suwabe, the MC pointed out that he is a bit rambunctious even though he is the founder and boss of Black Torch. While Suwabe said that he was good at playing the ``skilled'' character, he also drew laughter by pointing out that he used a lot of difficult lines and said, ``I wish he would give me an allowance.''

A new cast will be unveiled at the event. It has been revealed that Tomoyuki Morikawa will play the role of Tenki, a monster with powers that surpass the human intelligence of his enemies, and Nobuhiko Okamoto will play the role of Kakuga, a young monster who works with Tenki. To celebrate the announcement, Takaki delivered a color illustration of Tenki and Kakiga.
