The Inspiration Behind the New Arc
Volume 1 of Uncle and Fixer Chief, written by George Mikumo of I Don't Need a Real Girlfriend! under the name mikumo, was released by Square Enix today, April 24th.
Meet the Main Character
The main character is Iori, a girl who grew up in an institution when she was young and was adopted when she was 5 years old. After losing her adoptive parents in a traffic accident, she ends up living with her biological child's older sister, Riko, who has moved to Tokyo.
The two have not been able to get closer for 10 years due to the delicate distance between being an adopted child and a biological child, but their hearts become connected through Riko's cat, Old Man... Currently being serialized in Young Gangan (Square Enix).
