In the May issue of Petit Comic (Shogakukan) released today, April 8th, two new series have started: Hiiro Kisaragi's ``Reincarnation ~Taisho Romantic Love~'' and Yoko Hirano's ``Shinoda decides to be spoiled.''
"Reincarnated Marriage ~Taisho Romantic Love~" is a reincarnation love story between a man and a woman who have a fateful encounter beyond time. Kaoru Tachibana drops out of graduate school and decides to work in order to pay off his late father's debts. On his way to school to complete his expulsion procedures, he meets Aoi Fujinami, a man with a beautiful face. Kaoru finds it strange that she is fine with men touching her, but she doesn't mind being touched by Aoi. However, the next moment, Aoi, whom he had only known for a short time, told him, ``You are my wife.''
"Shinoda decided to be spoiled." is a short series that depicts Shinoda, a middle-management woman who wants to be spoiled by a "good guy," and Noda, a junior who likes her. Shinoda, who works as a middle manager at a black company and is tired every day, suddenly blurts out, ``I want to be spoiled...'' while drinking with Noda at his house. On the other hand, Noda mistakenly thinks that he has feelings for her, but...
The appendix is a ``Away Plate that can be used in the office'' of Gosho Aoyama's ``Detective Conan,'' whose latest movie version will be released on April 10th. Characters from movies such as Conan and Chihaya are drawn on plates that can be placed on desks and read ``I'm away!'' and ``I'm currently in a meeting!''. In addition, the next issue to be released on May 8th will begin Shiho Watanabe's new series, ``The Kajoin Family's Daughter-in-Chief''.
