Volume 1 of Fumie Suzuki's ``Musatsujo to Akutagawa'' was released today, April 7th, from KADOKAWA's Kadocomi.

Meiko, a part-time writer, published a book 10 years ago, but hasn't been able to fit in well with society since then. Her source of refuge is the impressions from a reader, Yu-chan, whom she doesn't even know. However, he no longer receives any new comments from Yuu-chan, and his past letters are lost in a fire, causing him to lose the meaning of life. Then, the person who appears in front of Meiko is the editor Moeko Yakushimaru, who is said to be an acquaintance of Yu-chan. Meiko believes Yakushimaru's words that he will let her meet Yuu-chan if she wins the Akutagawa Prize. The story depicts the rise of a mysteriously beautiful editor who wants to destroy the current literary world and a writer who clings to just one fan.
