Analysis: Fate/Grand Order Stage Highlights at AnimeJapan 2026
Today was a really big day for all the Fate/Grand Order fans out there. On March 28th, a massive stage event for the super hit smartphone game was held during the AnimeJapan 2026 festival. The whole thing took place at the Tokyo Big Sight in Tokyo, and the atmosphere was just electric. Fans from all over came to catch a glimpse of their favorite voice actors and get some fresh updates about the game's future.
The event featured some very popular names from the industry. We saw Shoya Chiba, who voices Dante Alighieri, and Haruki Ishitani, the man behind the voice of Beryl Gut (also known as Beryl Gatto), taking the stage. Also joining them was Yurika Hibi, who many of you might know from the "FGO in 1 Minute" segments. The whole session was smoothly handled by Haruka Mori, the well-known MC for the official program "Road to Shuushō." It is always great to see the faces behind these iconic characters in the Fate/Grand Order | Both series.

Shoya Chiba’s Fast-Track Progress in Part 2
During the talk, Shoya Chiba shared something very interesting about his own gaming journey. He mentioned that he managed to reach the final chapter of Part 2 in just about a year’s time. Now, if you are an active player, you know that is no small feat! It takes a lot of dedication and strategy to push through all those difficult boss fights and story nodes so quickly. The audience was quite impressed by his commitment to the game he actually works on. It really shows how deep the lore goes in the Fate/Grand Order | Both universe when even the cast members get so hooked into the gameplay loop.
Haruki Ishitani and the "Beryl Energy"
One of the most talked-about moments of the event was when Haruki Ishitani started talking about Mash Kyrielight. He jokingly said that he really enjoys seeing Mash's tears and her crying face. Now, before you get worried, he clarified that this is exactly like the character he plays, Beryl Gut. In the story, Beryl has a very twisted and strange obsession with Mash, and Ishitani-san seems to be channelling that "strange" energy perfectly for his role. It was all in good fun, and the fans loved how he stayed in character during the panel.
Fate/strange Fake Collaboration Details
Apart from the fun banter, the stage also touched upon some collaboration details, specifically regarding Fate/strange Fake. While everyone is waiting for more concrete release dates, the excitement is definitely building up. Seeing the "strange Fake" world finally merging more with the FGO smartphone game is a dream come true for many.
