Fruits Basket Acrylic Blocks Pre-Order
The "Comic Art Acrylic Block" goods designed with the cover of Natsuki Takaya's "Fruits Basket" book will be available for pre-order at the fandom's online shop camos store from 12 noon on May 1st.
This collection is made of manga book covers made into palm-sized acrylic blocks measuring approximately 54mm x 35mm. Volumes 1 to 23 are available, each priced at 770 yen including tax. A complete set containing all 23 volumes in a foil-stamped gift box will also be sold for 17,710 yen including tax.
Second Edition and Upcoming Sales
The second edition of "Comic Art Acrylic Block" features Julieta Suzuki's "Kamisama Hajimashita". Sales are scheduled to start in late May.
Fruits Basket is a human drama that begins with the encounter between Tooru Honda, a kind-hearted girl who lost her parents, and the Sohma family, who suffer from the "curse of the zodiac" that causes them to transform into animals when hugged by a member of the opposite sex. It was serialized in Hana to Yume (Hakusensha) from 1998 to 2006, and has sold over 30 million copies worldwide. It was made into a TV anime in 2001, and in 2019, the cast and staff were renewed, making it the second time in 18 years.
