This is the first collaboration between Universal Studios Japan in Osaka and the TV anime “Funeral Freelen” based on the original work by Kaneto Yamada and Tsukasa Abe. The new attraction ``Funeral Free Ren Story Walk ~Reminiscence Journey~'' will open on Stage 18 in the park from May 30th to January 11th, 2027.

``Funeral Freelen Story Walk ~Reminiscence Journey~'' will be developed as the first installment of the new format immersive attraction ``Universal Story Walk''. In this attraction, guests take on the role of travelers who arrive at the magical city of Oythurst and meet Freelen, Fern, and Stark's group. Then, Freelen is invited to the magic book library of the Continental Magic Association, and thanks to the "magic to relive the past" that Freelen found in the magic book, the memories of his precious journey are recreated before his eyes. In addition, you can enjoy magic such as Zoltrak projected on a giant screen, props modeled on Frieren's staff and Himmel statue, and participatory performances where you can manipulate magic.
Ahead of the attraction's opening, TV commercials will be aired in sequence from tomorrow, March 25th, except in some areas. In addition, it has been decided that ``Funeral Free Ren x Story Ride'' and ``Funeral Free Ren ~Reminiscence Restaurant~'' will be held. Details of attractions, restaurants, and the latest information on original goods will be announced at a later date.
