New cast members have been announced, including characters that will color Hephthal's "two reincarnations." Hiroki Higashichi will play Hephthal, a wise man and old man who was in Hephthal's previous life and dedicated his life to mastering magic. Ayaka Fukuhara will play Hephthal in his childhood, which is just after his second reincarnation. Emiri Kato will play Hephthal's mother, Ilia. The TV anime will be broadcast on TOKYO MX, ABC TV, BS Fuji, WOWOW, and others from July. Shuichiro Umeda will play the role of Hephthal, Reo Koyamauchi will play the role of Anastasia, and Haruka Shiraishi will play the role of Merlin.
These new information were announced at the "Failure Sage Academy Musou" stage event held today, March 29th at the NBC Universal booth in "AnimeJapan 2026". Umeda, Koyamauchi, and Shiraishi took the stage at the event.
