The first official recipe book for ``Hitorigoto the Apothecary'', ``Cat and Cat Formula'', will be released on May 13th. The cover was drawn by Touko Shino, who is in charge of illustrations for the original novel.
``Cat and Cat's Preparation Book'' contains recipes to reproduce dishes that appeared in ``Horigoto of the Apothecary''. It introduces 23 items, including chocolates made by Maomao at the request of Mr. Jin, and frozen desserts that are proof of the friendship between Maomao, Xiaoran, and Zisui. The recipe was devised by Yo Mayusu and supervised by the original author, Natsu Hyuga. Photography was by Taisuke Suzuki, and styling was by Kayo Sakagami. It also includes a total of six short stories, including five written by Hinata. As a purchase bonus, Animate will give out senjafuda, Melonbooks will give out postcards, Hero Party Bookstore will give out stickers, and some other stores will give out trading card size cards.
