For the fans who love collecting, more movie tickets featuring Chiikawa designs are going to be released on April 17th. There will be a total of four distinct types available for purchase:
- Chiikawa version wearing special robes and a flower crown.
- Hachiware version with matching island attire.
- Usagi version, showing the rabbit in his unique island look.
- The "Cave version" which features the main teaser visual design.
There is also a special bonus for those who buy a Mubichike. A clear file with the same design as the ticket will be given to 450,000 people nationwide. Chiikawa the Movie: The Secret of Mermaid Island is actually a film adaptation of the "Siren Edition," which is one of the longest and most popular episodes from the original manga. The movie is being produced by Cygames Pictures and is directed by Kei Oikawa. The main voice cast remains the same as the TV anime, with Haruka Aoki as Chiikawa, Masato Tanaka as Hachiware, and Ari Ozawa as Usagi.
