A special video featuring new cuts from the movie Chiikawa The Secret of Mermaid Island, an animated movie based on Nagano's original work, has been released.

What was released this time is a 60-second version of the 30-second special video released in February with new cuts added. A leaflet falls on top of a rabbit lying on a stump. Chikawa decides to go to the island with Hachiware, who is curious about what is written. The footage shows Usagi excitedly boarding the boat as it sails with enthusiasm, Chiikawa immediately starting to study for the Level 5 weed-pulling test, and Hachiware saying, "I've done so much...I'm so excited!!"

More movie tickets featuring Chiikawa will be released on April 17th. A total of four types are available: Chiikawa, Hachiware, and a rabbit wearing flower crowns and robes that will be changed upon arrival at the island, as well as a ``cave version'' with a teaser visual design. As a bonus for purchasing a Mubichike, a clear file with the same design as the Mubichike will be given to 450,000 people nationwide. In addition, at Chiikawa Land and Chikawa Market, a limited number of Mubichike, which come with a set of ``Siren Okao Pochette'' and ``Siren & Mermaid Bangs Clip,'' will be available, and at Seven Net, a Chiikawa Blanket will be included.
``Chiikawa the Movie: The Secret of Mermaid Island'' is a film adaptation of one of the original's most feature-length episodes, commonly known as the ``Siren Edition.'' Produced by Cygames Pictures and directed by Kei Oikawa, Haruka Aoki, Masato Tanaka, and Ari Ozawa will play the roles of Chiikawa, Hachiware, and Usagi, respectively, just like in the TV anime. The movie will be released on July 24th.
