The Inspiration Behind the New Arc
The first act (episode 1) of the TV anime “Jadugal of the Tent”, “Things in Heaven and Things in Earth” and the second act (episode 2), “A Rose Blooming on Safar” will be broadcast as a 1-hour special on July 4, 2026 (Saturday). "Tentaku no Jadugal" is a historical manga based on tomato soup that is currently being serialized in Akita Shoten's "Souffle". This is a harem story set in Mongolia in the 13th century, where Sitara (Fatima), a former slave girl captured by the Mongol Empire, meets Dregene, the Mongol emperor's sixth wife, who also has mixed feelings about the Mongol Empire, and uses her wisdom to shake up the empire.
Behind the Scenes
Broadcasting of the TV anime produced by General Director Naoko Yamada, Director Abel Gongora, and animation production Science SARU (``Dandadan", ``The Tale of the Heike", ``Don't Mess with Eizouken!", etc.) will begin on July 4, 2026 (Saturday). In addition to Akira Sekine as Sitara and Ami Koshimizu as Doregene, the cast includes Noriko Kuwashima (as Fatima), Jun Saito (as Muhammad), Hiro Shimono (as Ogotai), Ryota Suzuki (as Tolui), Miyu Irino (as Shira), Daisuke Namikawa (as Chagatai), and Kenji Nojima (as Juchi).
The opening scene begins with Sitara running around the city of Tooth to the tune of the Islamic call to prayer, ``Azan.'' A unique touch and worldview ``The pictures are amazing'' ``It's already amazing at this point, is it the movie version?'' ``The color scheme is as beautiful as a picture book'' ``The staff credit font is cute'' ``It really moves with the touch of Tomato Soup...!'' Both the anime fans and the original fans were drawn in at once.

Tragic Developments
And the viewers' bad premonitions were perfectly accurate. It was not the uncles but Mongol soldiers who opened the cellar door, and Sitara and Fatima were discovered by enemy forces.

Afterwards, Sitara and the others are brought to a group of tents pitched in a place called Tarkan. There, Sitara meets a man who was spared execution because he is a craftsman, but when he informs her that Nishapur, where Muhammad is, has also been destroyed, Sitara despairs.
