The New Cast Members
It has been decided that the 2nd & 3rd STAGE (all 11 episodes) from 'Steel Ball Run JoJo's Bizarre Adventure' will be exclusively distributed worldwide every Friday on Netflix starting September 25, 2026. In addition to releasing the second PV, new characters and new cast members were also announced.
The 'JoJo's Bizarre Adventure' series is based on the manga by Hirohiko Araki, and depicts the connection between Jonathan Joestar and Dio, as well as the strange fate of the main characters who are descended from Joestar. It is developed as a Taiga work with a unique method in which the main character changes in each part, and the ninth part, 'The JOJOLands', is currently being serialized.
The Second PV and New Characters
The second PV released shows Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli taking on a grueling long-distance stage that crosses the desert. New characters appearing from the 2nd STAGE are also depicted, such as a cowboy chasing the culprit of a mysterious murder that suddenly occurred, and a person with enormous power.
New characters and cast members were also announced. Tomoaki Maeno plays the role of 'Mountain Tim,' a Wyoming cowboy who participates in the race as one of the favorites to win the 'Steel Ball Run,' and is appointed as a sheriff's assistant to investigate a mysterious murder that occurred during the race.
Moreover, 'Hot Pants' will be played by Yoko Hikasa, a mysterious figure with unknown age, real name, and background, who is a strong contender in the 'Steel Ball Run' race from the early stages.
Furthermore, Tomokazu Sugita will play the role of Fanny Valentine, the president of the United States who supports the North American transcontinental race 'Steel Ball Run,' but who has some kind of hidden motives behind her actions.
1st STAGE (1 episode, 47 minutes of special programming) is currently available exclusively on Netflix worldwide. 2nd & 3rd STAGE is scheduled to begin exclusive worldwide distribution every Friday on Netflix starting September 25, 2026.
