Jujutsu Kaisen Stage Play Announcement
The Jujutsu Kaisen stage play is returning with a new adaptation of the Shibuya Incident Arc from Gege Akutami's manga, scheduled to debut in November 2026 at Shibuya LOVEZ in Tokyo and Sky Theater MBS in Osaka.
The stage play will be directed by Kensaku Kobayashi, who has directed all installments of the Jujutsu Kaisen stage play to date, and written by Yuki Kubota, who is also playing Toji Fushiguro in the production. The cast includes Ryuji Sato, Manabu Kumazawa, and Nonoka Yamaguchi reprising their roles as Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, and Nobara Kugisaki, respectively.

Jujutsu Kaisen Stage Play is a New Way for Fans to Enjoy the Series
The Jujutsu Kaisen stage play provides another medium for fans to experience the dark fantasy world created by author Gege Akutami. The 2.5D production utilizes practical props, specialized lighting, stage choreography, and projections to bring the series' battles to life on stage.
The franchise's first stage play adapted the initial two arcs of the manga, followed by a second production which adapted the "Kyoto Goodwill Event" and "The Origin of Obedience" arcs. A third installment covering the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 prequel manga ran from late 2024 to early 2025, while the fourth adaptation based on the "Hidden Inventory / Premature Death-" arc debuted later in 2025.
