A Double Celebration for Nakayoshi and Natsumi Ando
This new release is not just any regular launch; it actually commemorates two major milestones in the manga world. It marks the 70th anniversary of Nakayoshi magazine and also celebrates Ando's 30th anniversary as a painter. Seeing Kitchen Princess come back like this is truly heartwarming for the community. The original Kitchen Princess is a classic cooking love story centered around Najika, a girl who is a bit of a glutton but absolutely loves cooking. Her journey as she strives to become the best pastry chef in all of Japan was something that resonated with readers everywhere.
The original series was serialized in Nakayoshi from 2004 to 2008 and even won the prestigious 30th Kodansha Manga Award. The story depicts her fun-filled days at Seika Academy alongside her lover Daichi and their close group of friends. It’s a fresh look at her life that fans have been waiting for quite a long time.
