Volume 1 of Chitose Hidaka's ``Kyoto Kurenaisou Kitan'' was released by Bushiroad Comics today, March 6th. This is a comic adaptation of Konko Shirakawa's novel.
Mio, a high school girl who grew up in a family of magicians, attracts evil spirits due to the curse she received. Her cousin Ren protects her, but the evil spirits tell Mio, ``You won't live until you're 20.'' Mio is forbidden from leaving her hometown of Nagano due to the dangers involved, but a friend invites her to go to Kyoto without telling her family. There, she is attacked by an evil spirit, but the person who saves her is Takara, a mysterious high school student who knows Mio. Mio becomes interested in Kora, who knows something about her curse, and her destiny begins to change from there.
