Magic Knight Rayearth Anime Returns

The second key visual and main PV of the TV anime "Magic Knight Rayearth" have been released all at once. Furthermore, the cast of characters who will lead the Magic Knights has also been announced.

``Magic Knight Rayearth'' is a masterpiece of the creative group CLAMP, which is extremely popular both domestically and internationally, and was serialized in ``Nakayoshi'' (published by Kodansha), boasting an overwhelmingly popular story with a magnificent world view and charming characters. Thirty years after the TV anime was broadcast in 1994, it was announced that a "new anime project" would be launched in 2024, and there was much anticipation.

Today, the world's fastest world premiere of episodes 1 and 2 was held at North America's largest anime event "Anime Expo 2026" held in Los Angeles (7/4 (Sat) 12:00-13:20 local time), and after the screening, Rie Takahashi, who plays Kaze Hououji, and Saori Hayami, who plays Emeraude, took to the talk panel. At the same panel, the second key visual and main PV of this work were released.

At the same time, the cast who will play the otherworldly characters who lead the Magic Knights were also announced, with Yuki Kaji to play Clef, Emiri Kato to play Presea, and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka to play Ferio. Comments are introduced below.

Furthermore, it has been revealed that the broadcast will begin on Wednesday, October 7th, every Wednesday at 11:45 pm on TV Asahi's national network "IMAnimation W" slot (*excluding some areas).

When I was in elementary school, I remember this work being very popular among the girls in my class. At the time, I couldn't read or watch it due to the shyness that is typical of adolescent boys (lol), but I was able to experience the work through this appearance, and I was heartened by its popularity. Although it has unique originality, it has a universal appeal that is loved beyond time. It's the bible and the starting point. As expected, the world view drawn by CLAMP is amazing!

My name is Emiri Kato and I will be in charge of the voice of Presea.
I still can't believe that the time will come when I will be in charge of the voice of Presea.
I've been watching his works since I was a child, and I've also played the games, so it's one of my most memorable works. Among them, Presea-san was my favorite character, and the way she warmly snuggled up to the light, the sea, and the wind was the kind of older sister I admired.
When I auditioned for the work, I looked back at the anime series and wanted to get a little closer to my favorite Presea.
I would be happy if all the fans could feel Presea's warm feelings.

I'm really happy to be able to appear in Rayearth, which I've known for a long time!
