Volume 5 of Mucha ``Magical Girl 201'' was released today, February 19th. To commemorate the publication, a pop-up shop is being held from today at Melon Books Akihabara store in Tokyo and the same shop's mail order.
The pop-up shop sells new acrylic stand figures, acrylic key chains, suede tapestries, T-shirts, and more. Melonbooks is also distributing a newly illustrated 4-page leaflet as a bonus for the book.
In addition, Gamers will give away a newly drawn book cover, and COMIC ZIN will give away an illustration card as a bonus for the book. The distribution status of benefits varies by store, so please check at the store for details.
"Magical Girl 201" is a slapstick comedy about a female executive of an evil organization and a righteous magical girl. It is serialized in Ultra Jump (Shueisha), and was featured on the cover and center color of the magazine's March issue, which is currently on sale. At the end of Volume 5, there are illustrations contributed by Kool Kyoushin, Sangatsu, and Muchimaro at the time of Volume 4's release.
