Volume 1 of ``Makiba's Medical Record: Industrial Animal Clinical Veterinarian Sankai Yu'', originally written by Ren Hamahara and illustrated by Tsubaki Totsuka, was released by Coremix today, April 20th.
An industrial animal clinical veterinarian who specializes in "food-producing animals" such as cows and pigs. Sankai Yu, who runs a clinic in Tokachi, Hokkaido, travels across the northern land to save dairy cows and the people who raise them. Dairy farmers face endless worries, including a young man who takes care of 35 cows by himself, a couple on a farm with many cows that have difficult births, and a girl who can't accept the idea of slaughtering an injured cow. The reality of livestock medicine is depicted through Sankai's feelings.
