Volume 1 of Yuzu Benomitsu's ``First Love of the Merchant Mermaid and the Blue Sky'' was released today, April 22nd, by KADOKAWA's Silph Comics.
Sara is a mermaid who sells money between people and demons. To Sara, humans were nothing more than customers, and she would never open up to them. The story begins when Aozora, a young human who threw himself into the miniature garden where she lives, wanders into the garden. Sora, who had originally intended to sacrifice his life, offers to hand over all his assets to Sara. Sara, who was confused by his attitude, lectured Sora, saying, ``If you give me money, you're a customer! Wait until you've lived your whole life before you die.'' ``If it's hard to live in the human world, then you should live in the demon world.'' From there, Sora comes to live in Sara's mansion, and the two end up living together.
