The production decision visuals and special footage for the second season of the TV anime "Midnight Heart Tune" based on the original work by Masakuni Igarashi have been released.
This was unveiled today, March 29th, at "AnimeJapan 2026" being held at Tokyo Big Sight in Tokyo. The visual for the second season's production depicts the heroines of the Fuerin High School Broadcasting Club running along the beach towards the shining sunset. The video is structured from the scene in episode 12 where the heroines look up at the sunset and whisper, "It's so beautiful," leading to the visuals decided to be produced in the second season.
"Midnight Heart Tune" is a romantic comedy about four heroines of the Fuerin High School Broadcasting Club who pursue their dreams related to "voice" and the protagonist who struggles to make their dreams come true. The main character Arisu will be played by Rikuya Yasuda, the heroine Inoka Rikka will be played by Seto Momoko, Himegawa Nene will be played by Okubo Rumi, Kirino Iko will be played by Suzushiro Sayumi, and Ugetsu Shinobu will be played by Ito Miku.
