Masayoshi Katsuki will appear as one of the main characters, Mahiro Kagome, in the live-action movie "Matchimondo" based on the original work by Shogo Horiuchi. He will co-star with Kotaro Daigo, who plays Mikio Tsuzura.

“Matchmondo” is set in a world where “Match to Match,” a matching app that connects you with “fighters,” is attracting attention. Mikio, who is timid and the worst at fighting, but is devoted to his friends, and Mahiro, a young man who is the strongest when it comes to fighting, are caught up in a fierce battle between high school students for power, prize money, and friendship.

Koki Maeda will play the role of Mairu Nikaido, the president of the Aichi Soukai Association who is a ranker with a prize money of 17 million yen and the strongest enemy, and Yoshiyuki Yamaguchi will play the role of Yoji Ebara, the manager of a fresh fish store, who is an original character in the movie. Furthermore, Takuro Nagata will play the role of Naoya Umezu, the leader of a delinquent group who is nicknamed "Mayonnaise Head" due to his unusual hairstyle, Daiki Watanabe will play the role of Renji Miyata, the second-in-command of the Mayonnaise Corps led by Umezu, and members of Aichi Soukai led by Nikaido. Kaiki Kimura will play the role of Rion Yukimura, Atsushi Kinoshita will play the role of Kotaro Sakai, Seibu Hirano will play the role of Kitano, Nikaido's best friend who is deeply involved in his past, Riku Tsuji will play the role of Yuta, Mikio's best friend, and Honoka Kawasaki will play the role of Suzuna Aikawa, Mahiro's childhood friend. Release Date and World Premiere
Special video footage has also been released. The release date has been set for September 11th. It was also announced that the film will be screened for its world premiere at the Neuchâtel International Film Festival in Switzerland.
