The 4K UHD and Blu-ray set of Hayao Miyazaki's ``Princess Mononoke'' will be released on June 24th.
"Princess Mononoke" 4K UHD and Blu-ray set
The 4K digitally remastered version of ``Princess Mononoke'' supervised by Studio Ghibli was shown nationwide in October last year. This is the second Studio Ghibli work to be made into 4K UHD, following "How Do You Live?" The bonus video includes a stage greeting from a preview screening of the 4K digitally remastered version last October. Yoji Matsuda, who played Ashitaka, Yuriko Ishida, who played San, and producer Toshio Suzuki took to the stage to greet the audience, and they talked about their memories of "Princess Mononoke." The price of the 4K UHD and Blu-ray set is 11,800 yen including tax.
