The Inspiration Behind the New Drama
The main visual and new cast information for the TV drama "Let's Eat Together" based on the original story by Terrace Omachi have been released.

Meet the Cast
Ren Kiriyama will play Kazu Sawada, Taki's husband who has no interest in food. Asuka Kishi plays the role of Miwako Saito, Rei's wife who works in apparel and does not cook, and Hiroaki Iwanaga plays the role of Toyoda, Miwako's boss who exudes dangerous sex appeal.

Chizuru Asano will play the role of Yori-chan, the owner of the bar who is Taki's friend and good confidant, and Otoha Kuba will play the role of Miori Saito, Rei and Miwako's daughter. Miki Maya has been chosen to play Morino, the editor-in-chief of the publishing company where Rei works and who is concerned about her relationship with Taki.
Upcoming Events
On June 28th, an advance screening of the first episode of the drama and a press conference to announce the production will be held somewhere in Tokyo. Akari Hayami, who plays Taki, Kentaro Ito, Kiriyama, and Kishi, who play Rei, will appear at the event. The official website is accepting applications for viewing until tomorrow, June 17th.
The TV drama "Let's just eat rice together" will start broadcasting on TV Tokyo and other channels from July 2nd. The story depicts Taki, a cooking instructor who felt a disconnect between her and her husband's values regarding meals, and Ray, an editor at a cooking magazine who was worried about his wife's daily diet of frozen food, as they meet and vacillate between love, food, and ethics.
