Ren Meguro's Debut on Jump Cover
Ren Meguro appears on the cover of Weekly Shonen Jump 22/23 combined issue (Shueisha) released today, April 27th. It is a collaboration cover with Sakamoto of "SAKAMOTO DAYS" drawn by Yuto Suzuki.
The Movie and Cast
Meguro first appeared on the cover of Weekly Shonen Jump. He plays the main character Sakamoto in the movie ``SAKAMOTO DAYS'' to be released on April 29th, and is featured on the cover of the same issue dressed as Sakamoto. This is the first collaboration cover between a Japanese live-action movie and an original work in about eight years since ``Gintama 2: Rules are meant to be broken'' directed by Yuichi Fukuda in 2018.
The magazine also features the movie "SAKAMOTO DAYS". Interviews with Meguro, Fumiya Takahashi who plays Shin Asakura, Mayu Yokota who plays Lu Shaotang, and director Fukuda, as well as an in-depth report from Shuhei Miyazaki of "Boku to Roboco" about the completion preview screening were published. Also included is a bound pin-up with Meguro and Takahashi's main visuals on the front and back, and an "action large sesame sticker" with the original illustration. Furthermore, the results of the Best Bout vote for "SAKAMOTO DAYS" have been announced.
