The original TV anime "Sayonara Lala" will begin broadcasting on July 5, 2026, at 24:30. Lara, a mermaid princess who once fell in love with a human prince but was unable to fulfill her love and disappeared into a bubble, is revived.
Shiga Prefecture 200 years from now!? The internet was so excited about this unexpected development!
Episode 1 “Mermaid Princess Lala”
Immediately, the subtitle is posted, and the setting is suddenly ``1777 AD.'' The sixth princess, Lala, was born to the Sea King. Three years later, Lara, who has grown up well, goes out of the castle with her sister and finds a ``doll'' on the ocean floor.
Years passed and Lara, now 10 years old, officially became a member of the royal family and was given a ring. Although they are allowed to swim farther out in the sea than before, they are warned not to approach the world of humans above the sea.

Lara saves the human (prince), but her father asks her about the fact that there was land sand in your room. Getting close to humans is a serious violation.
The Journey to the Human World
When Lara replied, "Are humans really ugly creatures?", she was prohibited from leaving the castle. As Lala wonders, ``Why did she say that?'', Lala's aunt Grace, a witch, appears and gives her a drug that turns mermaids into humans.

The witch Grace told her, ``If you take this medicine, you can become a human. However, it is temporary. Before you turn into a bubble and disappear, you must find true love.'' In exchange for Lara becoming human, she received a ``voice.''
Lara, who has become a human, meets a prince, but it is a forbidden love. Her happy days came to an end, and she turned into bubbles and disappeared into the sea...
After the broadcast, Nana Kawaishi, who plays Mari Otsu, a girl with boxing gloves from Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture, posted, ``Did you watch our 'meeting'? I would be happy if you could watch Lala and the others grow from now on.'' What will happen next after this surprising encounter?
The opening theme for "Sayonara Lala" (the first episode is the ending) is "Sayonara Lala" by Ikimonogakari.
