Volume 1 of ``Shinobi no Inu'', written by Yukiaki Kurodo and illustrated by Ryuji Shiranami, was released by Takeshobo today, April 16th.
Shinobu is a breeder's shop where customers visit in search of cute pets. At first glance, it looks like an ordinary store, but behind the scenes it is actually a training center for ninja dogs, the partners of modern-day ninjas. Ninja dogs look like cute Chihuahuas, but they have incredible fighting power, and they have a variety of abilities that surpass even ninjas, such as being able to read information from the scent of blank sheets of paper that don't even have codes written on them. The story depicts a breeder's shop clerk who carries out behind-the-scenes work with these ninja dogs at his side.
