"Experience Tekkonkinkreet: Now Showing in More Theaters"

It has been announced that 35mm film will be screened at some theaters during the revival screening of the theatrical anime ``Tekkonkinkreet'' based on the original work by Taiyo Matsumoto.

The film will be screened at two theaters in Tokyo: 109 Cinemas Premium Shinjuku and Shinbungeiza. This is a rare opportunity to see ``Tekkonkinkreet,'' which was shown on film when it was first released 20 years ago, in its original feel. Three theaters will also be added to regular screening theaters, bringing the total to 95 theaters. More theaters will be added in the future.

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of its release, a revival screening of "Tekkonkinkreet" will be screened in theaters for a limited time of two weeks starting May 8th. This is an action drama that depicts the lives of two boys, Kuro and Shiro, who live on the streets, and the underground yakuza who are trying to develop the city. The animation was produced by STUDIO4℃, and the director was Michael Arias, known as a VFX pioneer. We also plan to distribute original visitor benefits. Details will be announced at a later date.
