``Tekkonkinkreet'' is an action drama depicting the lives of two boys, Kuro and Shiro, who live on the streets, and the underground yakuza who are trying to develop the city. The theatrical animation was produced by STUDIO4℃ and directed by Michael Arias, known as a VFX pioneer. In 2006, the high-quality visual production that used cutting-edge 3DCG technology and hand-drawn animation became a hot topic. Starring Kazunari Ninomiya and Yu Aoi, the cast also includes talented actors such as Yusuke Iseya, Kankuro Kudo, Min Tanaka, Nao Omori, Yoshinori Okada, and Masahiro Motoki.
The revival screening commemorates the 20th anniversary of the film's release and is a project of Filmarks. There are also plans to distribute original visitor benefits. Tickets are sold at each theater and cost 1,600 yen.
