The final 9 volumes of John Tarachine's ``The Sea Runs End Roll'' and the new volume 1 of ``Good Night, I Love You'' were simultaneously released by Akita Shoten today, May 15th.
The Inspiration Behind the New Arc
The series “Umi ga Run End Roll” started serialization in 2020 and was completed in November last year. The story revolves around Umiko, who is over 65 years old and widowed, and aims to become a film director after meeting Umi, an art college student majoring in film. This work has been ranked in the 2022 and 2023 editions of ``This manga is amazing!'' for two consecutive years.
