The new series ``Holobeat'', with original story and name composition by Shigenobu Matsumoto, scenario assistance by Tsutomu Sajima, original character design by Akira Amano, and illustration by Akira Tsuruta, started today in the June issue of Monthly CoroCoro Comic (Shogakukan), released on May 15th.
The Storyline of Holobeat
The story is set in a world where monsters and ghosts, forgotten by people and on the verge of extinction, are secretly called Horobito. Jin Narumi, a second-year junior high school student, is troubled by the number of monsters living in the temple where his childhood friend Hinata lives. Jin has a bad feeling about their presence, but Hinata, who can't see monsters, doesn't take what Jin says seriously. One day, the two are attacked by a giant monster... This is the story of Jin, who gets caught up in the conflict between the Horobites and teams up with a monster to fight.
