The Inspiration Behind the New Arc
The first and second volumes of Miho Tanakami's ``Asphalt ni Red'' were released today, June 15th.

Daiharu Kameoka, the son of a yakuza, is worried about the future of his group because all of his members are short of money. One day, he meets Uta Harada, who makes and sells handmade accessories. Oharu, who is unable to work part-time due to his status as a yakuza, learns how to make accessories from poetry and tries through trial and error to earn as much money as possible. Uta is impressed by Oharu's sense of skill, as he has always been good with his hands, but on the other hand, she feels distrustful of him due to her lack of knowledge of his true identity... The same work has also started posting on HERO's Web from today.
Exploring Themes of Identity and Loyalty
Through Daiharu's journey, Asphalt ni Red explores themes of identity, loyalty, and the struggle to find one's place in the world. As Daiharu navigates his new role as an accessory maker, he must confront the expectations of those around him and figure out who he wants to be. With its unique blend of action, drama, and heart, Asphalt ni Red is a must-read for fans of manga and anime alike.
