Kyo Machiko's ``Rusuban Neko Kinako'' volume 1 was released today, March 23rd.
One day, Kokona Ishida, a first grade elementary school student living in a house on the beach, is separated from her family due to an earthquake and tsunami. Unable to evacuate, Kokona meets Kinoko, a baby cat who is waiting for her family to return and playing "Orusuban", and together they head off to look for her family. Meanwhile, in the disaster area, Kokona and Kinako's family is desperately searching for them... The work is currently being serialized in Morning Two.
