The new series ``Hitoner'' by Tomohiro Yagi of ``Iron Knight'' and ``Red Sprite'' started today, April 22nd, on Shonen Jump+.
"Hitoner" is a "heartwarming story of observing a different species" set on the farthest planet where beastmen live. On that planet, "humans" are considered to be imaginary creatures, and those who love humans who appear in myths and folk tales are called "humans." One day, an earthling on a spaceship lands on such a planet. The beastmen are eager to investigate the man who calls himself Hitoshi Kanashima, but they begin to think that he is far smarter than them... This work is a serialization of the work of the same name, which was released as a one-shot in 2024 and received a great response. The first episode was a one-shot version, and the second episode was released today.
