Aoi Mari's new series ``Werewolf and Elf'' started in the May issue of Bessatsu Shonen Magazine (Kodansha), released today, April 9th.
``Werewolf and Elf'' is a travel fantasy of love and longing that depicts Hakurou, a werewolf who suffers from out-of-control greed, and Lia, a cursed elf. Hakurou, who has lived his life struggling to control his rationality, fears that he will turn into a real monster. Hakurou thought that if he became a witch, he might be able to kill him, but then he meets the elf Lia, who is cursed to die... Two lonely people go on a journey to find the witch.
In commemoration of the start of broadcasting of the TV drama "Hana of Evil", the same issue features a one-shot "When Hana of Evil" drawn by Shuzo Oshimi. The content depicts the time when ``Hana of Evil'' was serialized. In addition, Noriaki Kotoba's ``Princess Knight is a Barbarian Bride'', whose TV anime will begin broadcasting today, April 9th, appears on the cover and introductory color. Supporting illustrations by Chihiro Ishizuka, Megumi Ina, Tozen Ujiie, Takeshi Kawaguchi, Tonchi Kataoka, Ayaka Katayama, Michitsune Nakajima, Akinori Nao, Ippei Nara, Masanori Miyajima, and Miki Yoshikawa were also published.
