What does "I'm sorry to bother you now\!" mean?
The story follows Rinko Nakama, a 24-year-old office worker who is secretly a massive otaku. She tries to keep her love for anime a secret from everyone, but her life changes when she moves into her apartment. Her neighbor on one side is Satsuki, a very gentlemanly and polite person. On the other side is Usada, who is actually the author of Rinko's favourite manga series\! The title basically refers to the chaotic way these three end up living together after a literal hole is smashed through the wall. It is a very funny romcom where love and laughter share the same roof, quite literally.
Satsuki definitely has "devil glasses"
During the event, Kaito Ishikawa joked about his character Satsuki. Even though he looks like a perfect gentleman, there is something slightly mischievous about him. The fans at the event were calling it "devil glasses" because of how he handles the constant shouting and wall-breaking of Usada. Satsuki acts as the mediator between the two, often inviting Rinko to his room so she can watch anime in peace, which is actually very sweet of him.
What are the highlights of episode 1?
The biggest highlight of the first episode is definitely the wall destruction scene. In the story, Usada gets annoyed by the noise and literally kicks a hole through the wall into Rinko's room. But instead of being scared, Rinko is totally enamoured because she realizes he is the creator of "Usaneko-bu." This is a complete guide to the anime and manga journey for Rinko as she balances her professional life with this new, very strange domestic situation. The chemistry between the three leads was already visible in the first episode, and the audience in Tokyo was laughing throughout the screening.
I think the connections between people are wonderful
Kana Hanazawa mentioned that she really likes how the characters connect. Even though they start off as strangers and neighbors with very different personalities, they form a bond. Usada is a bit of a grouch, almost like Bakugo from My Hero Academia, but he has a soft spot for Rinko's cooking. The way they interact is not like your typical romance; it is a bit more chaotic and modern. The staff and cast put a lot of heart into this, and it really shows in the animation quality by Tatsunoko Production. The series is set to broadcast fully in 2026, and after seeing the premiere, everyone is waiting quite eagerly for it.
Anime "I'm home now\!" Summary
The event concluded with a gallery of new visuals and a teaser video. The ending theme "Triangle Game" by Yuika was also praised for its catchy tune that fits the three-way relationship dynamic perfectly. Overall, the screening was a huge success, and it looks like "Tadaima, Ojamasaremasu\!" will be one of the most fun adult romcoms to watch when it finally hits the screens.
