The Story Begins
Volume 1 of Mizuki Shionagi's original work by Kawai-san, 'When I Started Conquering the Princess of the Academy, It Turned into a Chasm,' was released by SB Creative today, May 15th. This is a chaotic romantic comedy about a boy who is tasked with conquering the school's star, 'Princess 6.'
The Setting and Characters
The setting is Himegasaki Academy, where a popularity vote is held for female students and the top six are awarded the title of 'princess.' Yuma Kambara, an ordinary schoolboy, is asked a favor by his younger sister Ayane, who barely made it to 7th place. In order to become a princess, you must conquer one of the six princesses currently ruling the top. Yuma is threatened with exposing his dark history if he fails to do so, so he first tries to conquer Yukina Kazama, the 'Wind Fairy' sitting next to him, but... This is a comic adaptation of Kawai-san's light novel.
