Sora Ueno is a high school student who lives in a small village surrounded by mountains. Sora had a childhood friend, Hinako Otori, who he could forgive, but Hinako disappeared on the night of a festival four years ago. However, one day, Hinako came home looking just like she did four years ago. Hinako, who has “returned from being spirited away,” is treated creepily by the villagers as a “devil” and becomes isolated. Sora is determined to protect her, but strange events keep happening around them... This is a strange tale of love that unfolds in a closed village.
