Volume 1 of Mitsuhiro Kimura's ``Gokujoshi - Yakuza Becomes an Elementary School Girl'' was released today, April 8th.
Hirono, the young head of the Yamagami-gumi, a designated wide-area organized crime group, undergoes human body modification to become an elementary school girl in order to protect the boss's beloved daughter, Mashiro, who is being bullied at school. Hirono disguises himself as a transfer student and tricks Mashiro into the class he attends, but while keeping it a secret from her, he struggles to keep her away from various dangers. He uses extreme methods, including violence, but there are some elementary school students who are not easy to deal with... It's a chivalrous comedy depicting the blood-washed society of elementary school students. It is serialized in Champion BUZZ, which is included in the electronic version of Weekly Shonen Champion (Akita Shoten).
