To commemorate Wataru Watanabe's ``Yowamushi Pedal'' reaching its 100th volume, an outdoor advertisement will be running in Akihabara, Tokyo until May 17th.

The Inspiration Behind the Celebration
Akihabara is the place where the main character, Sakamichi Onoda, started riding a bicycle. A large graphic that connects previous driving scenes has appeared on the mezzanine concourse inside the ticket gates of JR Akihabara Station. The characters' faces are boldly featured in the title of the work.

Special Signage and Graphics
In addition, a vertical signage displaying visuals of 24 characters will be installed inside the central ticket gate. Friends from Sohoku High School and powerful rivals are displayed along with words that express each of them. Watanabe commented, ``For Sakamichi-kun, it's the city where everything started, his favorite city! He's filling the Akihabara station with pedals!''

The celebration in Akihabara is a must-see for any Yowamushi Pedal fan, and a great way to commemorate the series' 100th volume milestone.
