``The VOCALOID Collection'', also known as ``BokaColle'', is an online event spun out from ``Nico Nico Net Chokaigi'' with the aim of developing Vocaloid culture. The VOCALOID Collection ~2026 Summer~ will be held for the 12th time in August. In the "GATE SEASON 2" open call project, one original song that meets the participation conditions will be selected and used as the ending theme. "GATE SEASON2" will also be exhibited at "Niconico Chokaigi 2026" which will be held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba tomorrow from April 25th to 26th. The first PV will be screened at booth B73, and a preview booklet containing the first episode of the original comic adaptation will be distributed.
Plot and Characters
GATE SEASON 2 Self-Defense Forces: How They Fight in His Sea, based on the novel by Takumi Yanaiuchi, is a sequel that takes place several years later in a world where a gate to another world has opened in Ginza, Tokyo. Tokushima Hajime, a member of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, meets Primera, a princess from another world, and becomes embroiled in new difficulties. It is scheduled to be broadcast in 2027.
