The Inspiration Behind the New Arc
Volume 1 of Nanatsu Ito's ``Merimero - Sweets from Another World Dedicated to the Gourmet Dragon'', based on the original work by August Yachi, was released today, April 24th.
Minato, an office worker, is suddenly transported to another world while working in sales. However, it turns out that Minato was an accessory to three high school students who were summoned as saviors in another world. Minato, who has no special powers and is judged to be of no use, is abandoned in the Valley of the Dragons.
The Unexpected Turn of Events
The person who helped Minato was one of the four dragons, the Black Dragon. Kuryuu liked the Japanese sweets Minato had and asked him to recreate it... The work is currently being serialized in Wings (Shinshokan).
