Character illustrations of Sasaki, Tayama, Yamada, and Suzuki appearing in the TV anime ``Two People Smoking Resin Behind the Supermarket'' based on Jishu's original work have been released. It has also been revealed that original cocoa cigarettes will be distributed at "AnimeJapan 2026" and that Shinya Takahashi will play the role of Suzuki.
There are 5 types of character illustrations. Sasaki with a cigarette in his mouth and a supermarket bag in one hand, Tayama standing coolly with a cigarette in one hand, Yamada smiling as a supermarket clerk in contrast to Tayama, Suzuki in a brightly colored suit, and two shots of Sasaki and Tayama.
Suzuki, played by Takahashi, is a goofy person who is Sasaki's friend and colleague from university. Takahashi will be on stage as an MC at the stage event held at "AnimeJapan 2026" on March 28th, and will have a talk with Takuya Sato, who plays Sasaki, and Seikado Hoshi, who plays Yamada and Tayama. At the event, the main PV, main key visual, and theme song information will be announced. In addition, original cocoa cigarettes with Sasaki and Tayama's illustrations will be distributed to viewers of the stage event and visitors to the TBS booth at AnimeJapan 2026.
