Maritani's new series "Hanito Rappa!" started in the July issue of Manga Time Kirara MAX (Houbunsha), released today, May 19th.
The Storyline
Usadabani, a company slave, is at a loss in the park because he hates his job at a black company. She happens to meet a rapper she admires, KOHA9, who invites her to join, and for some reason she makes her debut in an MC battle dressed as a bunny girl. The first stage is a battle with Kohaku. Though confused by the large crowd, Hani opens himself up, reveals himself, wins the battle with Kohaku, and makes a name for himself as a rapper/honey trapper. This is the story of Hani, who later becomes unemployed, and shines as a novice bunny girl rapper.
Other Featured Series
The first episode of the hamburger "Call Me Frankenstein" was also featured as a guest in the same issue. The story features Dr. Yukari Nijinohashi, a former gal who spent 20 years trying to resuscitate her friends who died in a certain accident in order to reunite with them.
And Uso Uzaki's ``Nadododotoshi'' and Kaeru Goie's ``Project Yuriforming!'' have been completed. It has also been announced that Hamajiaki's ``Bocchi Za Rock!'', which has been on hiatus since the March issue released in January, will resume serialization in the August issue released June 18th.
