Volume 1 of Shuhei Tanizaki's ``Gonron Egg'' was released today, March 4th.
Gonron Egg, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha), is a fantasy war story set in a world where the strongest creature, the Dragon God, invades the human world and human civilization has collapsed. While the surviving humans live as slaves to the Dragon God, the main character, Gonron, spends his days as a slave without bowing to the Dragon God. One day, Gonron meets Oma, a speaking egg who is the son of the previous Dragon God King. Gonron and Ohma, who have become friends beyond their species, embark on a dangerous journey for their mutual goals.
