Niwata Yoji's ``Ametotsuchi'' was released today, March 2nd. Asumiko Nakamura has provided comments and illustrations on the book's obi.
Nao Kirishima, a potter, lives in a small house left behind by his uncle. One day, a young man named Narita Motomen comes to Kirishima's house to repair a leak. He was asked to repair it by his uncle when he was still alive, and even after fixing the leak, he continued to care about Kirishima, who lives in the middle of nowhere. When Kirishima begins living with the dog, Rokuro, who Narita brought with him, Kirishima is persuaded by his mother, who tries to get him to follow the "right path", to return to his parents' home. Kirishima is depressed, and Narita kisses him and says, "It's not your fault."
To commemorate the release, a fair will be held at five Animate stores: Ikebukuro Main Store, Osaka Nihonbashi, Hiroshima, Sapporo, and Fukuoka Parco. One business card size card will be distributed to each purchaser. As a purchase bonus, Animate and Horin Love Books provided a 4-page leaflet, Comic Comi Studio provided a 4-page leaflet and business card size card, Toranoana provided paper, and other cooperating bookstores provided paper.
