Volume 1 of Inmakimaki ``The Brave Bereaved'', which is serialized in Tonari no Young Jump, was released today, June 18th.

The story of ``Hero's Family'' begins with the death of a hero who once defeated the Demon King and saved the world. Jill, a half-elf with the blood of a hero, receives news of his inheritance and heads to the funeral of his father, whom he has never met, in high spirits. However, a large number of his half-brothers and their families, left behind by their father who never stopped playing with women, were there. Since it has been announced that the inheritance will take place in 49 days, the bereaved families are plotting to increase their share... A quagmire inheritance battle begins among love-starved children.
The Inspiration Behind the New Arc
The release of Hero's Bereaved Family Volume 1 is highly anticipated, and to commemorate the occasion, several bookstores will be offering exclusive bonuses. Melon Books and Animate will be distributing illustrated cards, while Gamers will be distributing bromides. The illustrations used differ depending on the bookstore, and all are original illustrations.
