The New Series Debuts

Saro Moroboshi's new series based on the original work by Aoi Seito, ``The Shichijo Family's Thread User - A genius magician who wants to live a normal life, begins to exterminate ghosts with his intrusive disciples'' has started in Monthly Big Gangan Vol. 07, released today on June 25th.

The Story Unfolds

Kazuomi is a boy born into the Shichijo family, a famous family of magicians who exterminate monsters. Although he was the youngest genius in history to receive a special magician's license, he chose to live a normal life and was just a high school student. However, when he happens to witness his classmate Hazuki Minase exterminating a monster, it becomes clear that she can see monsters. Furthermore, since Hazuki, who had been exterminating monsters without permission, officially becomes a magician, he reluctantly accepts her guardianship.

This work is a comic adaptation of Ai's light novel. This is a modern Japanese-style fantasy about Kazuomi, a master who hates trouble and is an easygoing person, and Hazuki, a dedicated disciple. The series promises to be an exciting and action-packed ride, with a unique blend of magic and monsters in a modern-day setting.
