The Inspiration Behind the New Arc
Volume 1 of ``Snowdrop ~Wishing for Your Death~'' by Kei Sanbe, known for ``The Town Where Only I Am Missing'' and ``For That Child I Saw in a Dream,''' was released by Square Enix today, June 25th. This is a ``Pendulum Horror'' story in which a high school girl confronts a mysterious monster in an attempt to escape from the ``February 13th'' that repeats every day.
Unraveling the Mystery
Rigo, a taciturn high school girl who comes to school with messy hair, repeats February 13th every day. Every night, she is catapulted into the real world by the chant, ``Snowdrop, Snowdrop, I want you dead,''' and faces off against strange creatures with her partner Uzume. The snowdrops that are obtained each time a case is solved seem to be the key to breaking out of the loop... Currently being serialized in Young Gangan (Square Enix).

To commemorate the release of the book, some bookstores will be giving out purchase benefits. The electronic version comes with illustration data. A manga by manga artist Shuma Otomo was also released.
