A screening will be held at TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku in Tokyo on May 16th, showing the first chapter of the 'Mononokai the Movie: Karagasa' and its sequel, 'Mononokai the Movie: Chapter 2: Fire Rat,' as well as a preview of part of the main story of 'Mononokai: The Movie: Chapter 3: Hebigami.'

Special Talk Stage

At the event, after the screening, a talk stage was held with Hiroshi Kamiya who played the role of the drug seller, Daisuke Hosomi who played the role of Sakashita, and general director Kenji Nakamura. He talks about the appeal and highlights of 'Mononoke the Movie' as it approaches its final act, and the thoughts behind the third chapter. As a bonus for visitors, there was also a sticker that read 'Beware of Mononokai Manifestation'.

The Final Chapter

'Mononokai the Movie Chapter 3: Snake God' to be released on May 29th is the final part of the theatrical anime series that has been running since 2024. After experiencing two incidents involving the Mononokai, a new mysterious incident occurs in Ooku, where a maid's body is crushed and strangled to death.
