The TV anime "Let's Go Kaiki-gumi" based on the original View will begin broadcasting on 28 TBS stations nationwide from July 5th every Sunday at 4:30 pm. The key visual, first preview, new cast, staff, etc. have been released.
``Let's Go Kaiki-gumi'' is a bizarre gag drama that begins when the main character, who is scared, meets Mechako, the leader of the ``Kaiki-gumi,'' an organization that controls ghosts and monsters that threaten humans. The main character will be played by Tasuku Hatanaka, the role of Mechako will be played by Ruriko Aoki, and the narrator will be played by Shigeru Chiba.
The new information was announced today, March 29th, at "AnimeJapan 2026" being held at Tokyo Big Sight. New additions to the cast include Mayumi Shintani as the cursed doll, one of the last belongings of the previous boss of the Mysterious Group, Yoshino Aoyama as Shurako, Mechako's cousin, and Yuki Sakakibara as the doppelgänger who can take on the shape of any real person.
The sound director is Kohei Yoshida, who was in charge of ``Liquorice Recoil'' and ``Odd Taxi,'' and the music is by Akihiro Tateyama, who worked on the soundtrack for ``Yuru Camp△'' and ``Kemono Friends.'' In the first preview, you can hear the character voices played by the main cast and Tateyama's music. It was also reported that Amena would be participating in the anime as a "song cooperation", but it has also been revealed that she will be in charge of the ending theme. The title of the song will be revealed at a later date.
